When I was still living in Argentina I dedicated myself to making and selling cold porcelain sculptures to raise some money before moving to Italy.
These sculptures Usually took two weeks to make and were approximately 16cm Height.

Making process
All sculptures start with the pre visualization, some sketches and adjustments to fit what the customer wants.
After this comes the creation of the "skeleton", the supporting structure for all the materials.
After this comes the creation of the "skeleton", the supporting structure for all the materials.
The following step is covering the metal parts with aluminum foil to create the general shape and give the sculpture some volume. Once it is all properly covered I cover it now with a thin layer of cold porcelain. Once this step is finished I let it dry for at least 2hs to ensure a stable base.
When the base of the sculpture is completely done I start putting details over the simple shape I got.
When the base of the sculpture is completely done and dried the painting process begins.
I begin covering the whole piece with a based color (Normally with the predominant color of the piece or in this case using this technique to give volume to the piece start with a black paint over all of it)
Finally I paint all of the details with acrylic and the piece is done!
